1. About these terms
These Terms of Service govern use of the PokeSingle app and related scanning, collection, and support services provided under the PokeSingle name ("PokeSingle", "we", "us"). Contact: hello@pokesingle.com.
Use the service only if you can enter a binding agreement under applicable law, or with the necessary permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The service is not directed to children under 13. Any higher local minimum age or parental-authorization requirement applies.
These terms describe the conditions for using the service. Our Privacy Policy separately explains personal-information handling. Agreement to these terms is not consent to optional data processing.
2. What PokeSingle provides
PokeSingle helps collectors identify trading cards from photographs, browse card information, organize collections and binders, maintain a watchlist, view indicative prices, and receive enabled notifications. Availability depends on your platform, connection, app version, and supported features.
Core collection features are available to guests. A member account supports account-based features and synchronization. Guest access is not a promise of recovery after a device is lost or the app is removed. Keep private exports of information you want to preserve and check synchronization status before changing devices.
PokeSingle does not authenticate physical cards, certify condition or grading, provide a guaranteed valuation, or guarantee that a card can be bought or sold. Recognition results, variants, quantities, and condition selections should be checked by you before you save or rely on them.
3. Accounts and your responsibilities
Provide accurate information when creating or managing an account, protect your sign-in methods and device, and use only accounts you are authorized to access. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized use. Apple, Google, or email verification may be used where offered; their availability can change.
When you sign in from a guest workspace, the app may transfer that guest collection, binders, and watchlist to your member account as part of the sign-in flow. Review the resulting collection and resolve any conflicts shown in the app. You are responsible for keeping exports and access credentials secure.
You can stop using the service at any time. Member deletion is available at Profile → Account & security → Delete account. Connected guest deletion is available at Profile → Collection data → Delete guest collection. See the Privacy Policy for the scope and timing of deletion and any separately retained scan or analytics information.
4. Your photographs and collection content
You retain any rights you have in photographs, collection information, feedback, and other content you provide. Submit content only if you are entitled to do so. Do not include unnecessary personal information or material that violates someone else’s rights.
You authorize PokeSingle and its service providers to host, reproduce, transmit, crop, analyze, and otherwise process your content to operate the requested features, synchronize and display your collection, handle support, secure the service, and evaluate recognition quality as described in the Privacy Policy. This permission is limited to those purposes and does not transfer ownership of your content.
We do not acquire a right to sell your personal information through this permission. Personal-data processing remains subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy. Deleting content ends the permission for future service use of that content, except as needed for deletion processing, limited lawful retention, or copies you have separately shared or exported.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service. In particular, do not:
- Access another person’s account or private data, bypass authorization, or interfere with security controls.
- Upload unlawful, infringing, malicious, or unnecessarily sensitive material.
- Overload the service, automate abusive requests, evade rate limits, or disrupt other users.
- Copy, resell, or redistribute protected service content or extract databases without permission, except where applicable law permits it.
- Impersonate another person, submit fraudulent reports, or use the service for unlawful activity.
These restrictions do not remove rights that cannot lawfully be restricted, including applicable interoperability, accessibility, and other statutory rights.
6. Prices, marketplaces, and external services
Card prices and collection totals are estimates based on available sources. They can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong and may differ by condition, language, edition, fees, taxes, shipping, and marketplace availability. They are not an offer, appraisal, investment recommendation, or a guaranteed sale price.
External links and embedded pages may take you to marketplaces such as Cardmarket. Any purchase, sale, payment, delivery, return, or dispute there is governed by your agreement with that marketplace or seller. PokeSingle is not a party to those transactions and does not guarantee third-party listings or performance. Check the destination’s terms and privacy information before using it.
7. Charges and future paid features
The current app does not offer an in-app subscription or process marketplace payments. These terms do not authorize an automatic charge.
If paid digital features are introduced, their price, included features, billing period, renewal and cancellation rules, and any trial conditions must be disclosed before purchase. Applicable App Store purchasing rules and mandatory consumer rights will apply. A future paid offering will require the relevant purchase disclosures and an update to these terms.
8. App license and third-party rights
The app, its original interface, software, and PokeSingle branding are protected by intellectual-property law. Except for the permissions granted to use the app and rights provided by law or an applicable open-source license, no ownership rights are transferred to you.
For the version distributed through the Apple App Store, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement governs the app license unless a different license is expressly presented in the App Store. These service terms supplement that license and do not replace Apple’s applicable usage rules or mandatory consumer protections. PokeSingle is responsible for its own service and support; Apple is not the operator of PokeSingle.
Pokémon and related names, card artwork, and trademarks belong to their respective rights holders, including Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK, and The Pokémon Company where applicable. PokeSingle is an independent service and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by those organizations or by Cardmarket. Catalogue content and third-party assets remain subject to their owners’ rights. An attribution does not itself grant a license to reuse them.
9. Availability, changes, and suspension
We aim to keep PokeSingle reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted access, recognition accuracy, complete catalogue coverage, or permanent availability of a third-party service. Maintenance, network failures, source changes, and security incidents may affect features.
We may make reasonable changes to the service or restrict access where necessary to address misuse, security risks, legal obligations, or a material breach of these terms. Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide notice and an opportunity to export available data or address the issue. Mandatory rights relating to digital services remain unaffected.
10. Responsibility and consumer rights
Use care when relying on recognition, condition, price, and collection information, and verify it before making a transaction. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise that informational results will be accurate or suitable for every purpose.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including for fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any mandatory consumer guarantee or statutory remedy. Any permissible limitation must be applied subject to the protections required in your jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, UK, or another region with mandatory consumer protections, those protections continue to apply. These terms do not require mandatory arbitration, waive a right to bring a lawful claim, or prevent you from using the courts and remedies available under applicable law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for changes to the service, legal requirements, or operational needs. The date above identifies the current version. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will provide appropriate notice and obtain agreement where required. Changes do not remove rights that have already arisen or apply retroactively where prohibited by law.
12. Questions and support
For service questions, concerns, or rights-holder notices, contact hello@pokesingle.com or open Profile → Help & support in the app. Include enough detail for us to understand the issue, but do not send passwords, sign-in codes, or payment-card details.
